The Bichlalm is one of the most beautiful excursion destinations in Tux with a wonderful view of the Hintertux Glacier.
It is located on the southeastern slopes of the Hinterer Tuxertal and is cultivated in both summer and winter. The climb from Hintertux to the Alm is only a 45-minute walk away – even with a stroller. If you prefer to take it more leisurely and don't want to hike uphill, take the glacier cable car to the middle station (Sommerbergalm) and from there walk steadily, but not steeply, downhill to the Klausner family's rustic alpine pasture. Even children can easily cope with this.
